Welcome to the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration (TSPPPA)! As your Trachtenberg Student Organization (TSO) Co-Presidents, we’re thrilled that you’ll soon be joining us. In the coming months, we hope you’ll reach out, engage, and allow us to start a dialogue—we want to get to know you.
TSPPPA is a part of The George Washington University, a world-class institution that seamlessly melds practical training in a multitude of interdisciplinary fields, prescient academic research and thought leadership, and a commitment to service and improving our globalized society. One of our primary goals is to cultivate an environment of inclusion and respect for diverse backgrounds and viewpoints. Two of our initiatives, the Women’s Leadership Fellows Program and the Diversity & Inclusion Committee, serve to illustrate these priorities and we invite you to learn more about them as you prepare to join our community.
Considering our place as one of the leading schools for public policy and public administration, we are postured to have our voices heard in conversations that will drive real change—and we want you to get involved! Our student-led journal, Policy Perspectives, allows TSPPPA students to submit articles for publication, participate in a blog, and assume leadership roles on the editorial staff.
Situated in the Washington D.C. metro area, our school fosters peerless access for personal growth, career development, and student involvement. The innumerable benefits of the TSPPPA curriculum and school community will provide an unrivaled academic experience as you refine the ways in which you will leave your mark on the world.
