The University Counseling Center offers 24/7 assistance and referral to address students’ personal, social, career, and study skills problems. Services for students include, crisis and emergency mental health consultations and confidential assessment, counseling services (individual and small group), and referrals. Also call 202-994-5300 to speak to a mental health professional about a concern you have regarding a GW student. We are able to speak to fellow GW students, faculty, staff, or family members. Please ask to speak to a counselor if you call during our normal hours of operation (Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.). You also have the option to submit a report to the GW CARE Network or contact a local resource or hotline that specializes in your concern.
